Author Guidelines

  • The submission file is preferred in Microsoft Word file format. However, author may use PDF format as well.
  • A manuscript template can be found here (MS Word / PDF).
  • Please note that the in-text citations are to be in the format [1] (number in brackets).
  • Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another journal published by any other publisher.
  • The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article's publication has been approved by all the other coauthor(s), if any.
  • It is also the authors' responsibility to ensure that the articles emanating from a particular source are submitted with the necessary approval.
  • The manuscript must be prepared using the AJCIS template and preferably submitted online or sent to ajcis@ajouronline.com
  • If you do not receive e-mail in your 'inbox', check your 'bulk mail' or 'junk mail' folders. To make sure that you can receive messages from us, please add the 'ajouronline.com' domain to your e-mail 'safe list'.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Processing Charge(APC) of $100 for manuscript with a length of 10 pages. The author(s) are permitted to submit additional pages if they are willing to pay the charge of $10 per page for extra pages.
