Analysis of Paracetamol by Oxidation with Potassium Iodate

Abstract

The present paper describes the reaction of Paracetamol with Potassium iodate at 20oC with lmax at 470nm. The reaction product has been utilized kinetically to analyze the drug in Pharmacentical preparations with accurate and reproducible results in a short time.
