Information for Authors

Asian Online Journals (AOJ) publishes peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journals across multiple academic disciplines. These Author Guidelines apply to all journals published by AOJ, unless otherwise specified on an individual journal’s website.

Authors are encouraged to carefully read the guidelines below before submitting a manuscript.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

AOJ journals typically accept the following types of submissions:

  • Original research articles
  • Review articles
  • Short communications
  • Case studies or technical notes (where applicable)

Authors should consult the Aims and Scope of the specific journal to ensure suitability.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be prepared using the journal-specific manuscript template provided on the journal website.
  • Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring grammatical accuracy and clarity.
  • In-text citations and references must follow the citation style specified by the individual journal.

Originality and Authorship

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
  • All listed authors must have made significant scholarly contributions to the work.
  • The submitting author confirms that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining any required ethical, institutional, or regulatory approvals prior to submission.

Submission Process

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts electronically through the respective journal’s online submission system. Before submission, authors should ensure that their manuscript follows the journal’s aims and scope and complies with the author guidelines.

  • Register or log in to the journal website
  • Select the appropriate journal for your manuscript
  • Complete the online submission form
  • Upload manuscript and supplementary files
  • Confirm submission

Peer Review Process

All AOJ journals operate a peer-review process appropriate to their discipline, typically following a double-blind peer-review model.

  • Submissions are initially screened by the editorial office.
  • Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Handling Editor.

Publication Ethics

Asian Online Journals is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics. Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Plagiarism in any form is not acceptable
  • Proper citation of sources is required
  • Data fabrication and falsification are prohibited
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed

Suspected ethical misconduct will be handled in accordance with established publishing standards.

Open Access Policy

All journals published by Asian Online Journals follow an open-access publishing model. Published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish the article.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

Asian Online Journals applies an article processing charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts to support editorial management, peer review, and online publication.

  • An APC of USD 100 is charged for each accepted article of up to 10 pages.
  • For articles exceeding 10 pages, an additional charge of USD 10 per extra page applies.
  • The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
  • No submission fee is charged.

Authors will be informed of any applicable charges prior to final publication. The payment of APCs does not influence the editorial or peer-review process.

Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their published work.
  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons license, typically CC BY 4.0, unless otherwise stated by the journal.
  • The applicable license permits reuse, distribution, and reproduction of the work, provided the original source is properly cited.
  • License details are displayed on individual article pages.

Publication Ethics

Asian Online Journals is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All journals follow ethical publishing practices aligned with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) principles, including policies on:

  • Plagiarism
  • Duplicate submission
  • Authorship disputes
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Corrections and retractions
