Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the change of the importance of the “proofs not invedit (artless)†and “proofs invedit (art)†in Aristotelian rhetoric and their use in the modern communicative spirit of the Unified Europe. The “proofs not invedit (artless)†in modern communication systems are the events themselves, which are converted in the news. The “proofs invedit†(art) are reasoning, whose arguments are based on causes and effects. The pointing out of the change and false use of two important Aristotelian proofs should be for the modern European citizen and political the starting point for a change in the political and social character of the European Union. This change will be an important factor for the cohesion of the countries of the European Union.
