By use of random sampling, a total sample of 100 students was selected. Questionnaire was used as an instrument for data collection. Result of the study indicates that effect of social media can be both positive and negative. The social media sites such as Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram were the most used that capture the attention of many students away from their study and thus have negative and positive effects on their academic grade points aggregate.</p><p> </p> ER -
